I’m a North East Wales based theatre-maker who focuses on creating irreverent and meaningful new performance work. Playing at the intersection of contemporary theatre and a modern kind of clowning, I perform and direct work that is absurdist, comedic and raucous.

 

Over the past 15 years I have created and toured my own work as well as having developed and performed work in the UK and internationally, with companies like National Theatre Wales, Bristol Old Vic, Battersea Arts Centre and Common Wealth. My digital performance work has been supported by BBC Arts and BBC Cymru Wales and I have been nominated for numerous awards including the Evening Standard Future Theatre Makers award, for my work as a Director.

 

The stuff I make is informed by my experience of ill mental health and nuerodivers(ness), and I regularly work across disciplines, collaborating with science, nature, wellbeing and health professionals/organisations

 

. I’m fixed on making work that is temporary, alive and always in relationship with other people, using humour and pop-philosophy to lean into the unknown, hoping to change some small thing we think about the world.
