I’m a Director, Performer and Facilitator working at the intersection of traditional theatre, community performance and clowning around.

I spend time thinking about how live-experiences give us the opportunity to have something real and unexpected happen to us. My work has been hosted in conventional theatre spaces and met people on the streets, always attempting to bridge the gap between the imaginary and real, the liminal and the literal.

Mostly I like making things that explore human experience, modern life, mental health and bits-of-philosophy through collaborative action and a contemporary kind of clowning.​

 

I'm also a freelance workshop facilitator focusing on working with children and young adults exploring devised theatre making, autobiographical story performance and creative/experiential learning.

Broadly speaking I'd say I'm an artist, making art that is temporary, alive and always in relationship with other people.
